Okay, I realize that this is the most pathetic blog anyone has seen thus far! However.... I am determined to push through the walls! Break down the barriers that prevent success and plug along at this endeavor!
If anyone has passed through my little spot on the web, I truly apologize for that lack of entertaining quality that exists on this page.
I am really starting from scratch. Trying to work out all my disorganized plans and turn them into something I can be proud of.
So, for today.... I have not posted even my meager little posts for a few days because I have so many projects going on!!
1. My 2 older girls are in a play for their GATE program. (Which I love...) They both require costumes. And one requires 2, because she has 2 small parts. So those I am working on. The 2 are quite easy and don't require much time. But the other costume for the Cowardly Lion is a full costume that I haven't started.
2. I am contributing in the costume making efforts by sewing hats and wings for all our munchkins and flying monkeys. (If you haven't figured out the play, its the Wizard of Oz.) There are really not that many, so I don't mind in the least. But, it's just something else I have on my mind.
3. My youngest is going to be in our local pageant. And I have her dress in pieces, yet to sew together. I could just go buy her one already made, but I love to make things more difficult! :) Plus I rather enjoy making outfits for my kids! Although they don't always enjoy wearing them! :)
4. Also, it is almost Easter, which I haven't planned anything for. And because my kids start Spring Break after tomorrow, it will be my last chance to get some things done while they are in school!
Enough about my list of TO-DO's!! There are just too many! Oh and I have partially painted patio furniture sitting outside in the Desert winds. I will get to that soon!
Over the weekend, the girls and I went on a field trip with their after school group to the Living Desert in Palm Desert, California. It was really great. Saw all kinds of animals. Although it was rather hot out, even for Mar/Apr. We went very quickly around whole area. It tired us out! Especially my 4 year old. But it was great. Would be a great place to go to again when we can leisurely walk through. If I had the pictures on my computer I could post. I will soon. I tried to download all when we returned but my camera battery went out before it was complete so I think I have to start over.
Now this post is way too long.
Rambles on way too much.
And I haven't posted any nice pictures to look at.
As I've been saying, "Still growing!"
